Many people enjoy the feeling of owning a stuffed animal. They are soft, cuddly, and can be used for comfort or as an accessory to any outfit. However, not everyone has the space to store all their plushies at once.

If you’re one of these people who enjoys collecting these toys but don’t have enough room in your home for them all, then this blog post is perfect for you! We’ll discuss some techniques on how to display your plushies so that they are both organized and accessible whenever needed.

What Are Plushies?

Plushies are stuffed animals. Some people collect them while others simply use them for comfort or as a fashion accessory. In this article, we’ll be focusing on the latter half of that equation: organizing and storing your plushies so that they’re accessible whenever you want to cuddle with one and look stylish at the same time!

Decide how many plushies you would like to store in your box before starting anything. If you have ten plushies, then make sure there’s space for ten plushies inside the box before beginning construction. Sketch out an idea of what your display box will look like if not all of your plushies will be able to fit standing up, consider laying them down flat or cutting out parts of the box so that they can stand up.

The Box Itself:

Now it’s time to construct your box! Almost any kind of cardboard will do: cereal boxes, pizza boxes, any old packaging you have lying around- anything will work as long as it’s thick and sturdy enough to support the weight of all your plushies.

Measure the inside dimensions of your box and cut out a piece of cardboard with those exact measurements (if using a rectangular box) or draw the shape you want for your display case (if making an odd-shaped one).

Then, start assembling! Glue along three edges first before adding more pieces to make sure that there are no gaps between your pieces that might let plushies escape.

Making The Lid:

Glue another piece of cardboard to the top of your box and keep gluing pieces on until you’ve reached about an inch from the edge (this is where the lid will stop). Then, cut out a circle with a diameter equal to your display box’s width for the lid. This doesn’t have to be perfect; mine isn’t at all!

Now, make sure that it fits and then glue this whole piece onto your box (be very careful when placing/gluing this: if you get even a little bit of glue in between two spots where sections overlap, they won’t come apart without causing damage!).

Decorating Your Display Case:

Now that we have our display box, we just need to decorate it! This step is completely optional and will vary from person to person.

I simply used some ribbon and fabric marker pens because that’s what I had lying around the house that could fit inside my box (white doesn’t show up well against cardboard so this isn’t a very good choice).

If you want, you can paint your box using acrylic paints or even spray paint if your box is glossy enough to take it. You can also buy colored cardstock paper and color in your box yourself: this works especially well with darker colors like black since it’s hard to see the pencil lines when they’re drawn over in Sharpie.

As mentioned earlier, you can also use stickers, washi tape, stamps, or other patterned paper to decorate your box. Make sure that whatever you use is relatively lightweight; if it’s too thick, your lid won’t shut all the way and air will get trapped inside the box (leading to mold).

Displaying Your Plushies:

Now that we’ve got our display box assembled, you can place your plushies inside! If you’re worried about them falling out of their containers because they don’t fit snugly enough in there, try adding a piece of cardboard over the opening with tape or glue to make an airtight seal. You can also staple the fabric around the top and bottom of the opening if you want to make it look prettier than just using tape.

Storing Your Plushies:

Storing plushies isn’t always perfect or easy, but there are a few things you can do to make it easier on yourself! If you have more than one kind of plushie, try storing them by species so that you can easily pick out your cuddle partners from the bunch.

Also, if possible, store all your dragon plushies away from fire-types so they don’t melt when you reach for them. And lastly: keep an eye on your display box and take down any plushies that fall over (don’t let them sit like this for too long though!) because it’s ugly and unorganized!

As I said the these are just suggestions/ideas that can help you take better care of your plushies. You might have other ideas on how to do this yourself, so don’t be afraid to experiment! If you are unsure about doing any of these things, ask an adult for advice.

How to Display Your Plushies?

That’s a great question, and you are on the right track to finding the answer! Check out the following steps below. To display your plushies, you will need:

  • Cardboard (enough to make a box with an open top)
  • Glue or tape  (I recommend Elmer’s glue or packing tape–both are very sticky!)

First, draw with pencil two parallel lines on each side of your cardboard that are about 1 inch apart from each other all around until one side is about an inch longer than the other. Then cut along these lines so you have three pieces that look like this. Cut another line in the center of one of the long pieces (this is where your plushies will show through).

Next, make diagonal cuts on each corner on both ends of your display box until you cut out the shape shown in the image below. This will allow more space for plushies to show.

Once that’s done, fold it into a box and glue or tape all four corners together so that they don’t separate. Then take another piece of cardboard and cut it to fit inside the box–try not to let it stick out more than an inch from the bottom since you’ll need room for your feet when walking over it! Now glue this second piece of cardboard onto the base so that it’s secure.

At this point, your display box is complete and you can take out your plushies for display. You could simply leave it as-is or decorate it however you want! My favorite way to do this is by drawing on the outside with a pencil first and then going over it with a black Sharpie marker afterward:

And there you have it–an easy, unique way to display your plushies in style! You can even make multiple boxes for different types of plushies if you want. I hope this was helpful for those who were looking for a solution to properly displaying their precious plush friends! Conclusion

The key is to remember that displays are an opportunity for you to showcase your products in a way that will make them most attractive and appealing. Spend some time thinking about how you want people to see your items, then create the display accordingly! In order to truly succeed with plushie sales, it’s important not just to have a great product but also to have a unique display strategy as well.
