People all over the world love to collect plushies. It seems like no matter where you go, there is always someone with a cute little stuffed animal tucked under their arm. But what do you do with them when they are not on display? If you don’t want your collection of plushies to take up valuable space in your home or office, it’s important that you find the best way to store them!

Luckily for us, there are lots of options available for storing our favorite toys. In this blog post, we will discuss some of the most common ways people use to store their collections and give tips on how to choose which one is right for you!

How to store plushies:

Plushies are usually fairly small, so it makes sense that the best way to store them will be somewhere small as well. A great place to store plushies is in an over-the-door shoe organizer. They are perfect for hanging on doors and they come with a ton of pockets which can be used to separate different types of plushies.

If you do not have enough space on your door for a shoe storage bag, consider getting one that attaches to the wall or door frame.

You could also purchase a wire mesh basket and hang it from a hook under your bed or behind a door without using any tools at all! There are tons of options available just make sure to measure your space before purchasing anything!

Plushies might be small, but that doesn’t mean you should just throw them all in a bin together! They need to be organized for your own benefit. If you want the most efficient storage possible, it’s important that each plushie has its own designated home. The best way to do this is by using smaller containers or boxes which will fit inside larger boxes .

This is similar to organizing clothes in a dresser – small items go into small drawers, while large items go into large drawers instead of overfilling a single drawer.

You can use shoe boxes, plastic bins, or even something as simple as plastic sandwich bags to store your collection. Although they aren’t as cute as a plushie display, it’s important to make sure that you keep them safe and dust-free.

The best way to clean your plushies is with a lint roller. They are inexpensive and can be found at most supermarkets or drug stores. This will make sure that all the dirt, dust, and hair stays on the roll instead of on your plushies!

Make sure to read the labels on each toy before cleaning it though. Some stuffed animals are not meant for machines at all, so you should always check these first if washing by hand doesn’t work either.

The best way to keep your stuffed animals clean is by using an upholstery attachment for your vacuum cleaner. These handy attachments come in various sizes depending on what type of carpet you have and will make sure that your plushies are completely free of dust.

You can also use a lint roller to remove hair or anything else that might build up on the body over time. Just remember to check the label first – some toys absolutely cannot be put in the washing machine or dryer, so they will need to be spot cleaned by hand instead!

Another way is in a plastic storage bin with individual compartments . These can be found at most stores such as Walmart, Target, and even dollar stores! They come in tons of different colors and styles so you should have no trouble finding something that matches your style. You also want to make sure that the compartments are not too small so when you go to pick up one toy, the rest will come with it!

If buying a new unit isn’t really in your budget (and why would it be for plushies?), then consider creating one yourself. Take an empty box or container and cut holes into each compartment.

This will prevent any accidents from happening since there won’t be any difficulty taking toys out. If you have a spare closet, this is also an option! Just be sure to keep it free of moisture and other environmental hazards.

Why do you need to store plushies carefully?

Plushies are delicate and need to be stored carefully to prevent any damage or wear. Storage bins are better than bags because they keep plushies upright instead of being laid out on their side. It is also easier to see what toy you have in each bin so you don’t have to go digging through a large bag full of past toys!

Each item should also fit nicely into its own section without bumping into other stuffed animals, so this makes it easy for the organization as well!  Some tags can come off if left on during shipping or if they catch on anything else which can lead to injury, so this is also why it’s important to store plushies carefully.

Plastic bins are the best way! You can use an airtight container if you have expensive or rare plushies that you don’t want picked up by other items, but plastic storage bins with individual sections work great for most toys! This will make sure that they aren’t squished together and won’t be at risk catching parts of one toy over another.

Plushies should be stored in a dry place that is free from pests and mold. The best place to do this will also depend on the type of toy as well as how many you have! If you have a large collection it might work better to find something with a lot of storage space.

If your toy is handmade or purchased from a high end store, it might make sense to have them professionally dry cleaned. A good alternative is to use a small handheld steamer and this will usually work even on delicate fabrics! It’s also easier than going out and finding a quality cleaner that won’t rip the fabric or mess up any embellishments.

You can also vacuum seal your plushies to keep them fresh for a long time. This is the best way to store your plushie if you want it to last longer than just about any other method of storage out there. Vacuum sealing keeps all the dust, dirt, and bacteria away from your beloved toy so that they stay clean and new-looking forever!

There are many more ways on our website of how you can maintain and care for these adorable toys as well as find different ones in various sizes and prices. What do you think? Which one will work best for storing my stuffed animals?
